A Growing Network

Over the years, VTP has expanded its scope through:

• The promotion of yachting in Venice, via Venice Yacht Pier Srl, a wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to hight level yachting reception;
• Participation in the shareholding of the companies managing the cruise ports of Catania and Cagliari, in collaboration with some of the major players in the sector.

The Present with a Vision for the Future: A New Cruise Model for Venice

Today, following the reorganization of lagoon docking areas as a result of Legislative Decree 103/2021, VTP is committed – together with institutions, local authorities, and the port community – to relaunch the cruise offering with an increasingly sustainable approach. The aim is to harmonize its development with the preservation and protection of the unique Venetian lagoon ecosystem, fostering quality tourism with significant economic and employment impacts. This is an ongoing commitment to safeguarding the uniqueness of Venice and Chioggia and contributing to the balanced growth of the territory.
